Beauty Bay is an online makeup haven for the very best of the UK and international makeup.
Recently they launched three Beauty Bay original eyeshadow palettes: Evolve, Identity and Origin. Each palette takes a different colour tone from warm, colourful to cool toned.
Each row of shadows is numbered 1-7 along the top of the palette and labelled eye placement on the left side, resulting in the palette being a fabulous addition to a beginners makeup kit or for those who want to step outside their usual makeup routine. Of course, all shades can be ultimately used as flexible as desired, but I appreciate the added touch of detail to the packaging.
Retailing at £25 for 42 shades it is undoubtedly one of the more affordable palettes on the market.
For a comparison in price and quantity, the Urban Decay Naked palette collections regularly retail for around £42.00 for 12 shades.
The colours of the palette are vibrant in the pan and excitingly look just as vibrant on the skin. Not a lot of the product is needed to translate the colour in the pan to your eye, and when on the eye the shadows blend seamlessly while still upholding their pigment.
The palette is both cruelty-free and vegan.
▷Buttery Matte Formula
My experience with matte eyeshadows is that they are usually on the chalky side and sometimes tricky to blend. Well, this palette has just changed that completely. Each matte has a buttery-creamy consistency which I have never experienced before and one of the most exciting things about this palette that makes it stand out.
At an affordable price, easy accessibility online and the array of looks that this palette can achieve is definitely worth the hype. I feel like a lot of detail and planning went into this palette which speaks for itself through the branding and formulas. Although a little more on the crazier side in regards to colour selection, I believe the identity palette will be a favourite among many for the upcoming festive season and would make the best gift for makeup obsessed loved ones.
