Getting Lippy

If you know me at all you’ll know I love a good lip. I thought I’d share six of my go to shades from nudes, brights and berries.

Mehr . Faux . Girl About Town . Velvet Underground . Glastonberry . Bond Girl

These three are defiantly my go to shades. My two favourite nudes are Mehr and Faux by Mac Cosmetics. Mehr is a little more deeper and brown than Faux, I find it’s a little more of a statement nude rather than a smoother it on without a mirror nude. Faux however is such a simple lipstick and as you can see from the above image its a well loved product. If your after a lipstick that complements all makeup looks, I’d defiantly consider Faux.

Nudes have only just been introduced into my lip collection, however a fuchsia lipstick is no stranger. Girl About Town has been a good staple since the beginning of my makeup love affair. Its such a eye catching colour and it lasts FOREVER on the lips meaning its ideal for nights out of all day events. Charlotte Tilbury Velvet Underground is another beautiful fuchsia. It’s so bright and with a tan on holiday it looked gorgeous. The consistency of this lipstick isn’t as long lasting as Girl About Town however if you don’t mind reapplying its such a luxury colour.

Theres nothing that says Autumn more than a berry lip. Glastonberry is the best dark lipstick everrrrr, its just screams crisp mornings and chunky knits ( yes I’m that sad ). Its a very close contender with Mac Rebel which I know is many peoples favourite, if your a fan of rebel you’ll love Glastonberry, it has the prettiest purple undertone with a more of a brown tint. Bond Girl is another deep shade, maybe a few shades darker than Mehr. I find it to be a shade that is deep however you don’t have to worry about eating, unlike a shade such as Glastonberry. It makes a statement however if your one for a more subtle look yet strong then I’d highly suggest hunting this shade down.
